When you’re trying to eat healthier in general, you may think that some things are “healthy” when they aren’t. For instance, many people believe that veggie chips are a healthy snack, but in actuality most of these types of chips are made from starchy potatoes. Another common healthy food mistake is energy bars. A lot of them contain many of the same ingredients that you would find in a candy bar (including the high sugar amounts)! Finally, many people switch to diet sodas, which often are even worse for your body and contain unhealthy, unnatural ingredients.
